Meow Ring Ring

The personalities and appearances of two cats inspired the characters Fu Chen and Fu Lei.

Fu Chen, a white Devon Rex, becomes an elegant, agile, gentle sword-bearing guardian. Fu Lei, a tabby-and-white Munchkin, becomes a slow-moving, clever blue-clothed figure with a scroll and ritual vase.

The character work then developed into porcelain design. The original characters meet Qing-era enamel elements in the Moonlight Plate, Koi patterns, High-footed Bowl, Red Plum Dish, and Red Plum Heart-turning Cup.
